This is just one of the ways we get our residents stimulated and involved with one another. Our Well-being and Activity Co-ordinators, concentrate on activities that help create the greatest sense of well-being in our residents, whether through mental, physical or social stimulus.

Tea on the Lawn…

At Acer Court, we share our garden with our neighbour, another Avery care home, Alder House. Residents from each home often meet up there for a cup of tea and a catch-up. Our three meals a day are served in our spacious dining room, where all meals are made fresh using locally sourced ingredients. Our diverse menus are shaped around the preferences of our residents, and the attentive chef will always act on the feedback of the diners, especially if there’s something they really enjoy!

Mealtimes are often the highlight of the day for many of our Nottingham care home residents. This time gives them the opportunity to share a good, restaurant standard food and time to chat about what they have been up to. We particularly like to make sure special occasions are marked and residents get to pick their favourite birthday cake!
