Bespoke care packages are delivered by a registered home care provider dedicated to our site in Sheffield. If you only require a small amount of assistance, or you need higher levels of care, both are available and you only pay for the services you use.

All apartments come with a main door entry system, a 24-hour on-site emergency call service and a full maintenance package; many have Juliet balconies or patio areas.

There are several well-appointed and comfortable social areas for all to enjoy, where residents can entertain friends and family, or take quiet time out with the daily paper. There is a well-stocked library for those quiet moments of reading and reflection and Wi-Fi is freely available throughout the social areas to help keep residents in touch with their family and friends. Staying active and having fun is important to those who live with us. Our patios and garden are a delight all year round. A team of gardeners have created a space that offers something for everyone, with mature trees donated by The Woodland Trust, shrubs and flowers for all seasons. Loxley Park’s garden has raised beds, bird feeders and a greenhouse, and is an ideal space for those who wish to join the Gardening Club in the summer months and enjoy tending to the plants and growing produce for our kitchen.

There are many scenic walks to enjoy around Loxley Park; the Peak District National Park being just a few miles away. Visits to places of special interest in our minibus are a regular part of our social calendar. We have a dedicated Well-Being and Activities Team who produce an interesting and varied programme of activities and events over seven days a week, including evenings. Resident well-being is our primary concern, with all our activities designed to support the mind, body and soul. A typical day may involve trying out Tai Chi, joining in with a friendly game of pool, listening to talks from local speakers on a wide range of subjects, or having visits from local schools and live musical entertainment. There is always something going on at Loxley Park and if you have a personal interest then we will do our best to support that too.

Dining is one of the highlights of the day, a time when residents come together and socialise in the Riverside Restaurant which is open daily, serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Our award-winning chef consults with residents to understand their preferences and where possible our food is locally sourced. Our freshly prepared meals are a match for any high-quality restaurant.
