We Polished Off The Coffee!
Earlier this month, Pemberley House was delighted to welcome Avery Ambassador, stage and TV actress Sherrie Hewson to our Polish Coffee Morning.
Despite the snowy weather outside, Sherrie was warmly welcomed into the home by Alison Sweetman, our Deputy Manager, and Chloe Webb, our Well-Being Coordinator. We decided to embrace a Polish theme for our coffee morning in recognition of our Polish staff. We wanted to share and celebrate their culture with the residents, staff and Sherrie on the day.
We decorated our home in the cheerful colours of the Polish flag, using red and white flags and balloons throughout. Residents, staff and Sherrie enjoyed traditional Polish cakes whilst listening to traditional Polish music.
We all had a great time and a special Thank You to Sherrie Hewson for coming to visit us!
