Kim Young Recognised with MD Award
Kim Young is the Home Manager at Clare Court Care Home and her Regional Manager and colleagues felt she had demonstrated really strong leadership, transforming staff performance and morale at the home, as seen in Clare Court’s latest CQC inspection results.
Kim has also truly embraced the implementation of the Life Story boards; when Jo Crossland, Head of Dementia Care, visited the home, she was very impressed by Kim’s work, which has led to the team having a greater understanding of the residents and the information being used to routinely improve their care. Kim’s implementation of the project has also helped to foster strong relationships with relatives and added extra support to visiting health professionals during their visits.
With such compelling endorsements, John was delighted to award Kim with her Managing Director’s Award.
