Good Quality Care at Grove Park in Leeds

Grove Park Care Home offers residential, respite and dementia care services in stunning surroundings in the Headingley area of Leeds. Built to the highest standards, Grove Park has excellent staff on hand to provide the very best care for residents. This was reflected in their most recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report.

The report reiterates that the helpful staff across the home are always on hand for assistance with their residents. “Each suite had their own well-being member of staff who ensured people were provided with meaningful occupation including when isolated in their rooms.”

Home Manager, Lisa Turnbull, commented, “It’s wonderful to see the wide range of skills and qualities our well-being team bring, which they can adapt to the changing resident community.”

The report also highlights Lisa’s ‘compassionate’ approach to visiting at the home, especially for residents living with dementia who struggled emotionally during the height of the pandemic.

As part of Avery’s holistic approach to well-being, activities at Grove Park support residents’ physical, social, and psychological needs. It’s something that Well-being and Activities staff pay close attention to by regularly talking to residents about what they’re passionate about, what they’d enjoy doing more of and how they can help them achieve their goals.grove park staff

Recently, Grove Park has introduced a virtual around the world tour, whereby staff and residents ‘visit’ a new country each month to experience the culture, including food, music and pastimes. So far, the home has visited China, Hawaii and the USA.
