It’s Good in All Categories at Amarna House
“Staff are very kind, nice and a good laugh”
“They are all very caring”
“I love it here”
There are just a few of the quotes from our latest CQC inspection report, where we are very proud to announce that Amarna House Care Home has achieved ‘Good in All Categories’.
The CQC monitors, inspects and regulates health and social care services across the UK. It grades the services delivered in care homes in five categories: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led.
We had some incredible highlights in our CQC report. Here are some of our favourites:
The report summarised that “people were supported by staff that were happy with their work”.
Residents told the CQC that “They [staff] are brilliant”, “The staff definitely know what they are doing” and “There is always someone here to offer me help when I need it.” A visiting relative said, “They [management] have made some great changes here.”
The report continued, saying “throughout the inspection there was a real emphasis on team work and working together to support people.”
Other comments included “The food is lovely” and “I feel very safe here”.
More quotes can be found in our full CQC report.
Our Home Manager Linda Donnellan-Beevers was delighted! “This is a great achievement for the whole team at Amarna House, and everyone deserved a big ‘well done’. We have a philosophy and commitment to promoting independence and choice for our residents at Amarna House. We support this with the highest quality care and take into consideration the needs of every individual.
