Festivities at Grove Park

At our lovely Leeds home, we thoroughly enjoy celebrating a whole range of activities throughout the year. And with Autumn just upon us, we are excited to prepare for some upcoming events, including Harvest, Halloween, and Hanukkah.

Over the summer, our residents have loved getting involved in festivities, experiencing different cultures. As part of a virtual ‘Around the World’ adventure, which we started at the beginning of the summer, our recent Mexico themed day was a huge success. Residents designed and decorated their own Day of The Dead masks and donned them with style. So far, on our quest to travel the globe, we have ‘visited’ China, Hawaii, and the USA, and we look forward to seeing where our travels will take us next.

With many Jewish residents residing with us, we are looking forward to marking Hanukkah on 28th November. Our festival of light celebrations will see the residents learning about the history of Hanukkah and its significance in our home.
