Astbury a Finalist at the 2019 Pinders Awards
Avery Healthcare was delighted that its new care home in Bracknell Forest, Astbury Manor, was shortlisted to a list of three finalists at the 2019 Pinders Design Awards. This prestigious annual event recognises the very best in new builds for the care sector and focuses on the quality of a building and the design and use of space for resident environment and benefit. Astbury Manor is a stunning care home with a wide range of resident amenities and thus a strong candidate to be put forward for consideration.
Pinders are a long established surveying and consultancy practice advising organisations in the care sector; business valuations are now recognised by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as a specialist discipline and Pinders’ long-standing expertise in this field is relied upon by both the major lending institutions and operators ranging from individual sole-traders through to large corporations.
Along with the accolade of getting to the final three in the UK, Pinders also acknowledged this achievement with a donation to Avery’s nominated charity, being the Care Worker’s Charity, which is a rainy-day support service for those working in the care sector who find themselves in challenging circumstances through no fault of their own. Shown presenting the cheque for the CWC is Jon Chapman from Pinders and Home Manager of Astbury Manor, Juliet Gallop.
