Aire View are Good In All Categories!
We are proud to reveal that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated Aire View Care Home in Kirkstall, Leeds as Good In all Categories after a recent two-day inspection!
Aire View’s last inspection in 2017 achieved a ‘Good’ overall. Within this year’s report, the CQC highlighted comments from staff, residents and relatives which contributed towards the positive inspection. Comments from our report include:
Residents and relatives felt safe with the care provided. A relative said, “No concerns about safety here, plenty of staff, good security.”
Everyone spoke positively about the cleanliness of the home. One person said, “It is spotless, I don’t know how often they clean my room, but it is always clean.”
Residents and relatives reported that the food was nice, and they enjoyed the meals. One person said, “Food is very good, can’t complain.” A relative told us, “We have had the food here and it was terrific. There is always plenty, and it is home-cooked.”
Everyone said they were treated with kindness and provided consistently positive feedback about the staff and living in the home. One person said, “It is very good here, couldn’t ask for better. They are always there for me.” A relative said, “Staff are brilliant no complaints.”
Our Home Manager Paula Pearson has been at Aire View Care Home since September 2009 when the home first opened, and she is incredibly proud of this result, saying: “I am thrilled to have obtained good in all five areas. This is a team effort from my fabulous staff at Aire View: everyone plays a special part in the success and this is evident in our result!”
