Abbey Court receives Good CQC rating!
Abbey Court Care Home, Cannock, is proud to announce that at a recent unannounced Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspection, the regulator report rated the service as Good!
The CQC inspectors speak to staff, residents, relatives and other visitors about the service, and received the following feedback, which was displayed in the report: “They look after you very well”, “The food is absolutely brilliant. I’m diabetic so I have to be careful, but there are choices”, and “The staff are very pleasant. We have a bit of a laugh and a joke. They work very hard and they look after us very well” A relative told us, “[Staff member’s name] always goes the extra mile, as many of them do”. Another comment, from a visiting professional, was also positive about the approach of the staff: “If we leave any instructions, staff follow them”.
Home Manager Dawn Whitehouse was delighted with the result: “I am so proud of my wonderful team and we are all thrilled to celebrate this great achievement. The staff have continuously worked hard to turn the service to a Good rating, which clearly shows their commitment and passion to continually improve the quality of care and well-being for the residents!”.
A huge well done to the team at Abbey Court for achieving this fantastic result!
