A Community Litter Pick
Opened in Autumn 2023, Saxon Manor Care Home is one of the latest additions to Avery’s extensive portfolio of high-quality, award-winning care homes, offering residential, dementia and respite services. Saxon Manor offers residents a home-from-home while giving family and friends peace of mind that support and care are available round-the-clock.
Since opening, the team have established links with members of their local community, including the Godmanchester Litter Pickers, a local community group that endeavours to keep Godmanchester tidy. On Wednesday 15th November, Customer Service Manager Danny joined the Cambridge Road Co-op and the Godmanchester Litter Pickers for a community clean up. After a morning’s hard work, they had filled 16 bags of rubbish, leaving the local area pristine.
Speaking of the activity, Danny stated, “It is lovely to see their spirit and sheer passion for doing this, not only to do their bit but also boast their social circles! Thank you for allowing me to be part of this today, and everyone here at Saxon Manor is proud of the work you do!”
