All of our bedrooms are of a good size and have en-suite, walk-in showers and TVs. The light and airy lounges are a comfortable backdrop to the high standard of care and quality of life our staff provide. We work hard to settle each person into their new home, encouraging them to bring their own keepsakes and mementos – and their family and friends along too for frequent visits. Couples and companions are warmly welcomed in our home where their well-being, comfort, and happiness are our top priority.

We like to see our residents sitting out at the picnic tables in the summer. And there is always somewhere quiet should you wish to spend some time alone, and get away from it all. It also makes a great space for a garden party.
Safely visit Hinckley House and meet the Home Manager and team, or call us and we’ll be happy to talk you through the different facilities in the home and discuss your specific care needs.
Family members are very active at Hinckley House and the home benefits from their support and enthusiasm. With the residents, they contribute to the running of the care home and have a say in setting up societies, like the wine society and chess club, for instance, and what goes on the menu. We like to make sure that both minds and bodies are well catered for!

Local community groups and schools are regular visitors, and in return residents play their part by raising money for neighbouring charities and associations. We take regular trips out of the home to places such as local restaurants, pubs, the cinema and our favourite garden centre. Our Facebook page here lets you see what we get up to each day. You can always join in with us.
Our chef likes nothing better than laying on a spread for special and community events, such as fetes and open days, when we attract quite a crowd, not to mention the Mayor! But equal care is taken over our daily meals when there is always a choice of fresh, locally sourced if at all possible, and nutritionally balanced dishes. Special diets and are no trouble and we have ways and means of tempting those with small appetites.
Freshly baked cakes and pastries, as well as fruit are always available should you feel peckish between meals, and milestone birthdays and anniversaries are marked with beautiful cakes. Dining is the social highlight of the day and we make sure that as many of us as possible gather together to share and enjoy each other’s company. A relaxing aperitif is served before each evening meal. Come and raise a glass yourself!
