Built in 2018 this luxurious residential care home is fitted and equipped to Avery’s highest standards boasting 95 spacious private apartments from studios to one-bedroom deluxe suites, all featuring a private phone line, kitchenette and en-suite shower rooms for couples or those seeking independence whilst residing with us.  

Our Watford care home has a variety of facilities for residents to take full advantage of, including a cinema room, hair salon and therapy room. Our lounges provide the perfect sociable setting for fellow residents to enjoy an aperitif or simply natter over a cup of coffee and a slice of the chef’s freshly baked cake. This is where our Watford care home really comes to life. Equally, our quiet lounges can be enjoyed by those who wish to spend to time away from the camaraderie or dive into a good book from our well-stocked library. 

There is something for everyone at Elton House Care Home in Watford and always plenty to get involved in with our varied daily activities calendar, from creative activities such as painting, baking and pottery to visiting entertainers such as singers, dancers and musicians and outings to shops or theatres. We want all of our residents to be able to enjoy food, regardless of the condition they’re affected by. Through our innovative Cutlery-Free Dining approach, we ensure every mealtime is inclusive. Our chefs carefully adapt favourites, new and old to allow them to be easily eaten and enjoyed by any resident who, because of their condition, has difficulty swallowing or using cutlery.
