Out and About in the Local Community
At Mousehold View Care Home in Norwich, Home Manager Nigel and Customer Service Manager Dan have taken their local community by storm in preparation for the home’s opening.
Together, they have attended a local Dementia Fayre at Norfolk & Norwich Hospital and the Seetec Careers Fair in Norwich. Dan was also delighted to join the BNI City of Norwich Meeting to introduce the Chapter and Chamber to Mousehold View.
A particularly exciting event was the Parkinson’s UK Norwich and District Branch meeting, also attended by Dr Peter Lovatt, a specialist provider of education in the psychology of movement and dance and author of ‘The Dance Cure’. Peter’s talks offer an entertaining and thought-provoking exploration of how movement uniquely affects human skills such as creativity and divergent thinking, which are so important in healthcare and the workplace. Dan said, “Thank you once again to Chris, Lisa and Peter for a wonderful afternoon together. Needless to say, the afternoon also featured some funky music, and we all showed off our best dance moves!”
