“High quality, person-centred care”: Glenmoor House CQC Report
Glenmoor House Care Home in Corby, Northamptonshire, recently received a Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report, finding that staff members provide “high-quality, person-centred care”.
The report awarded a ‘Good’; in all five categories, including Safe and Well-led. It described how team members promote a positive culture that is “person-centred, open, inclusive and empowering”, which achieves good outcomes for residents. Residents and relatives also explained that “staff are approachable” and the Home Manager is “easy to talk to and always stops by for a chat.”
Pleased with the result of the report, Home Manager Laura Pickard, stated, “I am so proud of our team at Glenmoor House. We all strive to deliver the highest standards of care and endeavour to be supportive, open, and honest to all, including visitors to the home. I would also like to thank our residents’ families, both past and present, for their continuous support. It is a true pleasure to know and work with you to provide the best care for your loved ones.”
