“A kind and caring approach”: Glenmoor House CQC Report

Glenmoor House Care Home in Corby, Northamptonshire, recently received a new Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report, finding that staff members, residents and family members “spoke positively about the care provided at the home.”

The report stated that residents and their family members spoke of the “knowledge staff had of their relatives’ needs, and their kind and caring approach’’. Staff members were also praised for their “good and open communication”, and the report highlighted how residents are “supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives.”

Home Manager, Angela Roughton, was pleased with the result of the report, which saw Glenmoor House move from ‘Requires Improvement’ to ‘Good’. Angela stated, “We are all delighted with the outcome. All our staff have worked so hard to achieve this.”
