Alder House Retains Five Star Quality Banding

Staff and residents at Alder House Care Home in Nuthall, Nottingham, are proud to announce they have been awarded a five-star quality banding from their local authority, following a recent inspection completed by Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC). They are delighted to have retained their band five rating, which they achieved during previous inspections.

The report stated that residents feel ‘very happy with the care they receive’ and that each resident has a ‘personalised assessment and care plan which identifies their assessed needs, individual wishes, choices and goals’. The staff are described as being ‘kind and respectful to the people they care for’ and ‘understand the needs of the resident’s’ and are ‘responsive and person-centred in their actions’. In addition, the report describes Alder House as being ‘maintained to a good standard’, creating a safe home environment.

Home Manager, Gemma Wallbanks, is delighted with the result, saying: ‘’I am so proud of our team at Alder House who have worked hard to maintain our band five rating with the local authority. This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the continued care and dedication shown by the whole team’’.
